Education Reflection

Overall the discussion was great. Too bad we could not get any officials to partake in the discussion, it would have shed some light on some of our opinions. The arguments that I heard are some I have never put much thought into, such as sports interfering, or there is too much emphasis on sports that may confound with our education. I always like to hear from others, especially those I never hear talk. I'm not particularly shy, but I have a little trouble jumping into the conversations at times. Each and every discussion have put a lot of thoughts into my mind. This education discussion was a good ending to tie loose ends and point out some flaws in our system.

Is Exergaming Good For You?

Some people argue that exercising while play a video game (Such as Wii Sports) is not as good as going outside and taking a walk. Researchers however came to a conclusion that it isn't all that bad for you. There is some data included in the article. But will it remedy childhood obesity?

Beware of Supermoon

On march 19th, the moon will be closer to Earth than it has in the past 18 years. An astrologer however, is very skeptic on this event. It is known that the moons gravitational force acting on the Earth pulls the ocean, and creating what we know as high tides, and waves. Since the moon will be significantly closer to Earth than it usually is, it's hypothesized that chaos will ensue: Huge storms, earthquakes, volcanoes and other natural disasters can be expected to wreak havoc on Earth. Only time will tell.

NASA Scientist Finds Evidence Of Alien Life

Found from a meteor, a rare one, called CI1 carbonaceous chondrites, a fossil was discovered by Dr. Richard B. There are only nine of these meteorites on Earth. Costly Accident

A rocket carrying a $424 million satellite is believed to have crashed into the Pacific Ocean. This is a huge devastation for NASA. The satellite, Glory satellite, was supposed to study Earth's climate. This isn't the first time NASA has had a costly accident.
